Canadian Federation of Artists Member, Ashley Slade, will be leading an exciting adventure in alcohol ink on various media. This will be a class focussed on building different inking skills and exploring different colours as well as pigment inclusion.
This is a great class for beginners or intermediate inkers who want to play around!
In this two hour class, participants will:
* gain knowledge of how to safely use ink.
* become familiar with ink movement and mixing techniques.
* & knowledge of how to properly seal and finish their work.
Because this is a skills based class, the products will be 100% unique to the attendee; however, we will have examples for galaxy, floral, and nautical inspired pieces as well as completely abstract designs.
Your course fee includes the following surfaces for inking:
Three 5x7" sheets of photo paper
Two 4x4" tiles
One 9x12" sheet of yupo paper
This is a no-stress zone!
Bring a sense of adventure and willingness to experiment while having FUN! Please wear clothes that may get stained or wrecked - paint stains!
